Frontlines: Fuel of War
new off the heels of winning GDC's game of the year, Portal's GDC conference was met with a huge crowd, an interesting juxtaposition for such a "tiny" game. The conference was lead by Kim Swift, level designer, and Erik Wolpaw, writer. Before you read any further know that this article is littered with Portal spoilers, so close your eyes and ears.

Too Human Technically Awesome
GDC "Take a good appear at this loading screen," told director Denis Dyack as he initiated up the game from the title screen. "It's the only time you'll see it during the demo." By the time he was finished with the sentence, the near-final version of Too Human was off and running, and not once did we see a load screen for the first thirty minutes of the game.
